Judea Weekly eNews - Help Love grow this Lenten season!

Lent begins this Sunday, February 14; it's also Valentine's Day.  Come share some love and get recharged with inspiration for the week ahead as Pastor Cheryl speaks on navigating our lives with love.  And you may just be the recipient of a valentine from a special "little one"...

To hear more about the upcoming season of Lent, visit Pastor Cheryl's bog entry entitled, "Love and Ashes" and check out "Opening the Heart", the first personal practice of love.  Click the link or find it on our resources pages under "Faith Practices".  We will be adding more as the season progresses if you are looking for that "something new" that will help YOU to grow this Lent.

Teen Talk meets this Sunday during coffee hour up in the newly decorated Youth Room.  Any high school aged teens are welcome to join.  See the announcement on the right for more info.

The meditation group with Pastor Cheryl at the Gunn Library has been extended two more weeks by popular request by the regular attendees.  The group is open to anyone wanting to learn more about meditation and it is not necessary to have attended the previous sessions.  It is running again on Tuesdays, Feb 16 and 23.  Give the library a call to register.  See the announcement on the right for the details.

There are more announcements on the right and on our Home page.  Though new material is added to our site weekly, a (mostly) full set of important information about our life together as a church this month is available on our website in the February monthly Judea Journal.

We are grateful for this entire church community and your presence among us!  Hope to see you on Sunday!
